Therapy is an empowering and collaborative process. In sessions, Jen will take the time to understand your unique story, honoring both your past and present as part of who you are. She is dedicated to building strong, meaningful relationships by working closely with her clients to help them achieve their goals. Meeting individuals where they are, she creates a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, enhance their self-worth, improve coping skills, and gain valuable perspectives to promote growth and discover new strategies for navigating life’s challenges.

Jen’s warm, relational style and curiosity aim to foster insight, understanding, and positive change. Using a holistic approach, she integrates psychoeducation, reflection, and evidence-based methods, including trauma-informed, psychodynamic, CBT, and play therapy. Jen’s clinical background is rooted in child development, with an emphasis on the value of early childhood experiences, family dynamics, intergenerational relationships, and attachment styles. Jen has provided both individual and group therapy across various settings, including schools, therapeutic programs, social skills groups, and outpatient clinics. Jen is a licensed social worker in the state of Illinois and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Social Work degree from the Erikson Institute with a concentration in Children, Adolescents, and Adults.

Jen is a lifelong learner who values authenticity, self-care, and work-life balance. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, connecting with friends, exploring new restaurants, zumba, and nature.
