Psychotherapist
At TreeHouse Health we believe in working to live; not the reverse. Working with us you will be encouraged to strike a healthy balance between life and work as together, we make the world a better place one person, one couple, and one family at a time. You will be part of a community of professional, high-class, kind-hearted mental health experts (as we were recently described). We provide highly regarded and advanced supervision and training in the treatment of attachment and trauma in children and adults, the practice of Brainspotting, and the application of Parenting in SPACE™, our therapeutic parenting program.
We are seeking psychotherapists who value clinical excellence, joyous engagement with others, and creative approaches to healing. For over 25 years we’ve been recognized by parents and professionals for the family psychotherapy we provide children, adolescents, and the adults who care for them. We’ve worked with many families, especially those that formed through adoption, and those with kids who have challenges stemming from early childhood trauma and attachment disruption.
What we offer our therapists:
- We provide services in our Wilmette offices near the Old Orchard Shopping Center and, or by telehealth
- Individual and group supervision, as well as the training we provide, is compensated.
- Competitive pay and we will pay monthly after you have seen your clients; you won’t have to wait until we get paid, as with other practices.
- Paid time off, CEU compensation, a retirement plan, and health insurance is available for full-time employees
Our clinical leadership are trained in, and will base supervision on both Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, a model for treating Development Trauma, and Brainspotting, a Neuroexperiental model for treating trauma. Our Clinical Director, Billy Kaplan, is a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner and Consultant-in-Training
We take care of the entire “back office” - administration, intake, marketing, insurance, etc - because we want you to focus on what matters: bringing your best clinical self to the people you are treating.
Candidates with full clinical licensure (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT) are preferred, and candidates who have a master's degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work may also apply.
